In 2010, the foundation, then known as TECT, started a school with the sole purpose of educating the underprivileged, irrespective of the religion or caste. It provided a venue for these children to complete their +2 education and move on to obtain a Bachelor degree in commerce (BCom). Over 200 children benefited each year from this. Since 2015, an educational group has been roped in, to improve the quality of the education and Thadagam Foundation continues it’s support with full or partial sponsorship of the the needy children. The recommendation for sponsorship is accepted through the elected panchayat members.
