For many years, Thadagam Foundation has stood by its vision to educate every child in the region. As a part of this vision, various awards, sponsorship and donations have been instituted.
Thadagam Foundation proudly announces Thadagam Educational Scholarship Programme. This is to support economically underprivileged children with excellence in academics and sports, to achieve their goals. Thadagam Foundation will provide scholarships for selected children, based on specific academic criteria. This will aim to replace the educational aid provided for decades by our chairman, with a more structured scholarship scheme. The pilot of the programme is open only for the staff of Jaleel Holdings and programme will soon replace the existing scheme in the wider community.
An award for the children from BPL (below poverty line) families scoring top two places in SSLC exam from the local government higher secondary school.
Gold medal for the highest scorer in SSLC exam in local panchayat ward every year.
Sponsorship of children to undertake bachelor’s degree in various colleges. Three children were provided sponsorship each year for the last 15 years. Bachelors degree in pharmacy, paramedical sciences and vocational training certifications have been the most popular streams among children seeking our sponsorship.
We also regularly sponsor infrastructure development projects in government schools, like ceiling fans for class rooms, school uniforms, umbrellas and stationery for underprivileged children every year.
Sponsorship for sports and cultural activities – recently undertook the training of a local school team that was selected for state level competition in “Oppana”.
